LOSS


   The sign said 'Emergency'.

   She huddled beneath it, surrounded by her family,
   Deep in her weeping,
   Large clear tears sliding down her cheek.

   A woman in white whispered in her ear
   'Don't blame yourself, There was nothing that you could do.
    Sometimes they Just quit breathing.'
